How usage is calculated
Two limits that are easy to understand
Capacity is consumed when a document leaves preparation, not while you are working on it.
An invoice counts when issued
Saving or editing drafts uses no capacity. The month is determined by issue date.
Void invoices stop counting
An invoice with void status is excluded from monthly usage. Earlier documents are retained.
An estimate counts when sent
Creating and editing a draft does not count. Capacity is used when it receives a number and is sent.
Quotas renew monthly
Unused capacity does not roll over and changing plans does not delete existing documents.
Independent counters
Issuing an invoice does not reduce estimates and sending an estimate does not reduce invoices.
Additional users are separate
Portal users follow the general plan and not these two document quotas.

Before choosing
Are drafts unlimited?
Yes. Prepare as many as you need; they count only when an invoice is issued or an estimate is sent.
Are both limits shared?
No. Every plan has one invoice quota and a separate estimate quota.
Does a void invoice count?
No. Void invoices are excluded from monthly usage.
Does a revision count as a new estimate?
Creating it does not count; it will count when that revision is sent.
Are documents deleted after a downgrade?
No. Existing documents remain; the limit only affects new issues or sends.
Is there a payment or document commission?
Invoice does not process payment and charges no invoice or estimate commission. Only the plan and applicable taxes apply.
